BINHDUONG DISCOVERIES
If you like surprises, then Binh Duong's the place to be. Since we broke ground at Waterfall BinhDuong we've been wandering the highways and byways of our neighbourhood. Our discoveries have included: (1) Singapore style chicken rice opposite the Thu Dau Mot stadium; (2) My Lien near Bung Market, the best place to eat shredded pork steamed rice cakes; (3) the architect Vo Trong Nghia's iconic Wind and Water Cafe on Tran Binh Trong in Thu Dau Mot Town and his eco-friendly Phan Chu Trinh School in Di-An. We've also discovered Minh Long's second's department on the 2nd Floor of Minh Sang Plaza.

CHUA BA THIEN HAU: The Ba Pagoda on Nguyen Du Road at the centre of Thu Dau Mot Town has a procession to receive Ba (the Lady) on the 14th Day of the 1st Month of the Lunar Calendar, followed by worshipping on the 15th day. LAI THIEU ORCHARDS: Located in Thuan An District in the Southern Part of Binh Duong, Lai Thieu is the green lung of industrial Binh Duong and well known for its delicious tropical fruits. LOCAL MARKETS: They're wet and noisy and you'll have to bargain. But how else will you get to see the real Vietnam. There's a small market down the road from Waterfall Binh Duong at the intersection of Le Hong Phong and Cach Mang Thang Tam and of course Thu Dau Mot market itself.
